Dementia Awareness Training for Employers

STAND has delivered training to employers around Dementia Awareness.  

Delivered by people living with dementia, this session includes:

• information about what dementia is
• hearing the stories of those living with dementia and their experience of their employers' response to their diagnosis
• learning what helps people with a diagnosis of dementia to stay in work
• learning how to support employees who are supporting a loved one with a diagnosis of dementia
• learning healthy habits that may help to prevent dementia (and also help prevent other chronic illnesses)
